MARINA  Although the Spirit's Den is not equipped to dock boats, the Bay Street Marina in Manitowaning is only a 5 minute walk away. It offers 39 slips that can accomodate vessels up to 80' in length. Docks are offered for seasonal tenants and visitors. Shore power is available , as is gas, diesel, pump-outs, ice, washrooms and showers. There is a beach and a picnic area as well. For more information, contact:

FISHING  Both salmon and splake are normally fished in Manitowaning Bay, however there are over thirteen different fish species in the waters on Manitoulin Island. Some of the fish species include perch, pike, lake trout, smallmouth bass, whitefish, walleye and muskie.

Fishing licenses are mandatory in the province of Ontario, even for non-residents. Non-residents MUST bring a valid fishing license from their own state as well as valid identification in order to purchase a license in Ontario.

GOLFING  The Rainbow Ridge Golf Course is located four blocks from the Spirit's Den and offers a championshop 18-hole, par 72 course with four sets of tees.       Ten Mile Point Trading Post, a beautiful scenic area about 15 minutes from the Spirit's       Den, features works of renowned local and North American artists. It is a popular       tourist attraction.

SIGHT SEEING
